The Manhiça Health Research Centre (CISM) and the Manhiça Foundation take their name from the Manhiça district in Maputo Province, where their headquarters are located and where most of their activities are carried out. However, they also have representations in Mopeia, Quelimane, and Magude, and implement activities in other parts of the country.
