WHAT WE DO?
Since the creation of the CISM, training has been one of the strategic area of the institution. Our training activities centred on young researchers and technical personnel are of paramount importance given need to ensure sustainability at the Centre, contribute to the development of research capacities in health in Mozambique and lead the development of the country in the field of public health. Mozambique needs to develop this type of capacities for her own development especially in health and in the areas of research.
The CISM invests in the Development of nationa human capital and in the training of researchers and technical personnel with the collaboration of academic institutions both at national and international levels, highlighting the partnership with the University of Eduardo Mondlane (UEM), thw Unilurio, the Insstitute of Health Science of Mozambique (ISCISA), the University of Barcelona (UB), the Barcelona Institute of Global Health (ISGlobal), the University of Gotemburg-Sweden, and the University of Belgium among others.
However, in recent years CISM has carried out different projects that aim to develop, strengthen and expand clinical research capacities, through the development of institutional capacities, such as TESA, PAMAfrica, among others.
