Scheduled for late November, the Forum is expected to bring together health institutions, communication professionals and journalists, researchers, policymakers, civil society organisations, development partners, academia and the private sector, in a space for sharing experiences, reflecting on challenges and identifying solutions for more effective, accessible and people-centred health communication.

The project will evaluate a strategy combining home-based tuberculosis skin testing using SIILTIBCY, the involvement of Community Health Workers (Agentes Polivalentes Elementares – APEs), and the use of AI to support the interpretation of test results.

The results indicate that women exposed to ivermectin around the time of conception did not have a significantly increased risk of miscarriage, stillbirth or major congenital anomalies compared with women who received albendazole.
